Hair Product Mystery

As well as Frederik Fekkai-ing it up, chomping on those pre-natals and trying to be healthy, I am currently using one other hair product - but I am keeping the name and brand of this a mystery.

I bought it the other day - in Boots - and I am hoping for miracles.

You have to use it consistently for at least 2 months and so, in the interests of science, this is my "Before" picture.

The rumours surrounding this product are major hair growth in a matter of months.

My motivation for this picture is therefore to ensure that you all believe my new long locks are real and not clip-in, come December :)

Well, here's hoping! :)

I am intrigued to see how it turns out :) I used to take Perfectil (spelling?) but I am so absent minded I couldn't remember if at the time it made a difference.

Oh and in your pic in your last post, your hair is looking so thick and full; did you use any mousse in it at all? I want to know how you got that look :)

lollipop26 said...

@men4breakfast - aha its actually a side effect of the product. i just applied it :)

Ooh loving the voluminous hair!

Have you tried the resurrection powder that you can buy from Tony & Guy at all? I tried some last night and it's like a salt shaker filled with powder. It gives crazy volume!

I hope it works out for you! My hair is growing so fast at the moment, but that's because im pregnant, ha! Im trying not to cut it at all, but im afraid I might have to go for a trim soon :(

I'll keep piling on my dry end serum though, it will probably last for another few weeks :p

A side effect of just using Frederik Fekkai? Wow if that's the case then I am def getting the volumizing range :)

wow.... so very scientific ^^
*excited* i shall wait to see the results and maybe the unveiling of the product,

ive allways wished for long thick voluminous hair... but Wo'Alas my hair is fine and gets very 'stringy' if grown to a nice length..

Currently trying the ' cut to grow' with regular trims... but its painfully slow.. so if theyres a product and from boots = cheaper i am very..... Very intrigued .

I hope its not the Lee Stafford stuff that has actually lead to my hair falling out everytime I use it :(

lollipop26 said...

@Louise - oh no that's horrible! its not lee stafford though: phew!

I'm also trying to grow my hair back long again...the healthy way. I've been going for (small) trims every few weeks, using good products and trying to limit breakage by using a gentle brush and hair-ties.

ifoundpablo said...

oops when I said "the healthy way" what I meant was: so that my hair is thick and healthy at the ends rather than long, thin and splitting at the ends.

Is it a Boots own brand Product or just one that available there?
I've just looked on the website and one products seems to match you description, if it is that it's bloody expensive.
Don't keep the secret to to yourself we all want gorgeous long hair by Xmas, lol.

I dont think its an expensive one,i think its from boots experts range

Its had rave reviews, even in the Daily mail(if im right)

If im wrng, you should say what it is,that way you can get feedback off others if they have used it,or you can compare results with the people that want to try it too, that way we can have an even better review of the product : )

Ahh! I hope it really does work so you can pass the info on - I had my hair CHOPPED OFF by some idiot excuse for a 'hair stylist' last Spring, and my hair still hasn't grown back all the way. My hair sadly grows slow. If this product really works I'd dieee of happiness!

Rachel said...

I think I know what it is too, but my guess is *way* off from the links posted...

Now I'm all curious!

I'm thinking sea kelp? If you haven't tried these you should give them a go..they really are miracle workers at making your hair grow fast. I had to stop taking them as my hair was growing at an alarmng rate :)

I love your hair color, can you share whether it is your natural color or out of a box? If it is the latter, what color is it? Thanks very much. I love reading your blog and watching the videos!

I am also trying to grow my hair out again, and every time I go to get a "trim", she ends up styling it, and cutting more off. I'm almost back where I started, so I'm afraid my stylist wont be getting any visits from me until I'm desperate for a trim. I think I have developed a phobia of scissors! One thing I've found that makes my hair healthier, or at least looking and feeling that way, is coloring it. I went red, and my hair is silky, smooth, and soooo easy to style! Hard to maintain though, so its going to have to fade out this time.

You have such beautiful hair as is, so I am really excited to see what it looks like in December.

My hair is in horrible shape right now, so I am on the look out for some good quality products.

I will be staying tuned :)

TokyoPink said...

I know this is going to sound odd but Catnip tea is meant to be very good for hairgrowth. And i mean pouring it on the hair, not drinking it. But I'm guessing your not as obsessed with Natural Haircare as I am haha!
I'm also intrigued to find out the identity of this product, I've been searching the Boots website but there are so many products for hair growth that I still have no idea.
You look beautiful in your picture, as always :)

Is it Lee stafford hair growth treatment from Boots?
My hair is very thin and falling out due to medical treatment so would be great if you could say what the product is so I could try it (:
