China Glaze's Evening Seduction

Earlier today I had a manicure and asked twitter people whether I should go Sephora-OPI's Metro Chic or China Glaze's Evening Seduction.

I went with Evening Seduction - a gorgeous deep brown/maroon colour that makes me feel v. sophisticated :)

I have always wanted to take one of these photos :) I can't explain why but I always have - so here we go :)

I am trying really really hard not to buy lots of nail polish.

I did order China Glaze's Ruby Pumps on ebay but I am trying not to look at anymore. I just keep telling myself that it doesn't last long enough to justify hauling.

However, as I am a glutton for punishment why don't you tell me what your favourite polish is? :)

I have to agree with Carms... Lincoln Park after Dark by OPI has to be my favorite... Lincoln Park after midnight is nice too, its not quite as dark and has a little bit of shimmer to it (even tho I am more partial to a matte nail).

yayy i recommended that too :) check out http://8ty8beauty.com/nail_polishes/cg.htm for cheaper prices :)

You should take a look at www.scrangie.com - Scrangie recently reviewed a Nailpolish Restorer by Seche, and explains, that you never have to throw away polish! So you can haul a lot of polish and it won't get bad, and if it does, you can restore it! :)

I love these shades as well. I recommend Revlon in 'autumn berry' and nail inc in 'victoria'. I prefer the revlon one as it lasts longer, but I love both of these colors!

Ooo I had my manicure earlier too (like you I get acrylics), and am really pleased with it. I went for Revlon's Raven Red. I love Cherries in the Snow too! I was very tempted by an nice shimmery red OPI one, but alas no china glaze in that colour...might have to buy it though, is the PERFECT colour that I've been looking for ages for!!! x x x

My Ruby Pumps lasted about four days without chipping--w/out a base or top coat, because I'm lazy ;)

I just placed my first OPI order on the web, can't wait to get those. (They're starting to sell them here, for 13€ each, can you believe that?).

In the meantime I quite like Rimmel 60 seconds, they're long lasting, really dry quickly, and some colors are gorgeous. Right now I'm liking "pompous", a dark shimmery purple.

I used to be a slave to Chanel's Rouge Noir, but then I discovered OPI....
Now my two absolute favourites are both OPI - Cajun Shrimp which is a lovely orangey red and Lincoln Park After Dark for gorgeous very dark purple - both work really well with my pale skintone.

I just got China Glaze's Avalanche polish, and I LOVE IT. It's BEAUTIFULLLLLLL. It does have an element of streakiness about it, as metallic polishes so often do, but it actually sort of evens itself out a little as it dries, and then the second coat sorts it out. : )

asos.com have a sale on a few OPI ones right now and the postage is free I think, so you're only paying for the item. :)

Gorgeous! I am going to go buy it! I too am attracted to that type of color. Just grew my nails out and today I am wearing Revlon "Vixen." Don't know if they make it anymore. Also, I love Jordana (cheapy) Burnt Sugar. Not salon quality but very pretty!

It's a tie between OPI Out of this World and Kreme de la Kremlin--both neutrals, both creams. Out of this world is orange-ish and the latter is a dusty rose...when I am not in holiday mode I constantly switch between these two.
